Tangled Out Poetry

Well, why not start with someone else's words?

That's exactly what Tangled Out Poetry does.

Whether you choose to tangle on an existing page you've removed from a book, or from text you've typed yourself, Tangled Out Poetry is a fun, easy process to marry your thoughts with your artwork. As a form of expression, just for fun, or for framing, you'll love this process!

There will be four different Tangled Out Poetry projects in the course. I'll also be showing you a process for selecting words for your poetry, and we'll discuss how to use actual book pages for Tangled Out Poetry, too. So, there is a lot of content in these four projects.

When you sign up for this course, you'll receive a page of text I typed that you can use to follow along in the course, as you learn the techniques and tangles.

Color is always an option, and I'll be showing how to create bubbles/beading with Prismacolor Pencils. An optional kit of colored pencils can be purchased, or you can use whatever coloring tools you have (other colored pencils, crayons, colored pens, etc.). No worries if you want to stick with black and white -- that's dramatic enough!
